It's a GIRL - ok you all knew that

John and I are now the offical parents of our daughter V.  Court went well (it was 2.5 hrs long) and at the end of it they declared it in the best interest of V to be adopted by us.  We are so excited.  Just got back to the hotel.  We are going to the orphanage this afternoon to tell V. We now start our 10 day waiting period in Biro before we can get her new birth certificate (with us listed) and her passport, then we head to Moscow to go through the embassy and then hopefully home on the 29th.  Valentina will stay the nights at the orphanage during the waiting period but we will be able to visit her and hopefully to take her out as well.  Still does not feel real that we have two kids.  I am sure it will when they are both melting down on an airplane ride home (3 different planes so odds are that there will be meltdowns at some point).   Thank you all again for your well wishes.  Can't wait to get home.
